I gave my notice at my apartment this evening. I dropped my Notice of Intent to Vacate in the drop box and walked away with a smile. I will no longer have a place to call home and a sink to fill up with dirty dishes. I will be homeless as of August 1st but this doesn't worry me which means I must be crazy.
Next step is to find a storage unit to keep my bikes and a few other things. I won't be keeping that much but I don't want to pile my car trunk with stuff either. I'm thinking I'll have to go buy a few large plastic bins to keep my clothes in or I could just get a few of those wardrobe brown packing boxes and hang my clothes in the in the storage unit. Either way it will work out.
September is shaping up rather nicely, only a few days to book house sitting jobs, however I'm kinda worried about August. So far I only have a few weekends booked. Come on people, go on vacation, I need a place to crash. Next month I'm going to be fairly busy on the weekends but it would be nice to have at least 2 weeks booked before I officially move out. I have a very handy calendar that I keep updated as to when I'm booked or available.
