In November my parents gave me an awesome gift for my birthday. They gave me a certain amount of money and said I had to spend it on something for my new apartment. Pretty nice, huh. I was mulling over what to spend my money on for weeks. A laptop would be a great present but the one I really wanted was over the limit. Well, how about a new bed? No, I can get away with a mattress on frame. So, finally I found this cute little red couch and thought, okay now this actually makes sense. Guests have to sit somewhere right?I bought this red couch and it sits proudly in my lonely apartment. It gets some action a few times a week but definitely still has the new look like its straight out of a catalog. I don't want to get rid of it while I'm staying at other people's homes so on a quest I went. Who wants to sit on my red love seat while I'm away? I recently got in touch with my friend Sara, from highschool, who is crazier than I am for adventure. She biked across America in search of brew pubs. I knew she would love the idea (plus she just moved here from New York and has no couch). She has agreed to give my couch a home once she gets done house sitting for a friend of her's. Hmmm, coincidence or not?
My first problem solved. Now about the actual house sitting...
