It's now been 18 days since I first came up with my House Sitting idea and already weeks are being booked and interest has sparked. People who I haven't talked to in months are contacting me to schedule dates and plan trips around my availability. Very cool indeed. Part of me can't believe I'm actually going through with this challenge but the other part of me feels like I need to do this. It just makes sense.
The other day I was doing some research online and came across just the site I needed. http://www.housecarers.com is the perfect site for connecting vacationers with house sitters. I became a member immediately and created a profile. I'm anxiously awaiting my first booking from this site. Check out my profile.

I contacted my apartment manager to let them know that I'll be moving out soon. I have 30 days to be packed up and moved out once I give my notice. As soon as I get back from my family's 4th of July party at Lake Curlew, I'm handing in my notice. So, help me out and go on that summer vacation with your family during the first week in August and let me keep your couch warm.
